Ngozi Fulani a black British Charity boss was questioned about her background by Lady Susan Hussey, Prince William's godmother, at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. Lady Hussey, along with Fulani was attending a reception hosted by the Queen Camilla. Lady Hussey asked in polite conversation where Fulani was from.
Lady Hussey asked the black lawyer Ngozi Fulami where she was from. โFrom Hackney,โ she replied. Lady Hussey said, โNo, what part of Africa are you from?โ
The lawyer replied that she was born and raised in the UK and that she is British, but the woman continuedโฆ โWhere are you really from, where are your people from?โฆ When did you first come here?โ, Lady Hussey asked
Fulani reiterated that she is a British citizen born in the United Kingdom and that her distant ancestry is from the Caribbean.

Fulami has deliberately made a mountain out a molehill with this claim of racism. It is clear that Fulami has cultural roots which were of interest to Lady Hussey. It seems that lady Hussey was asking about historical cultural connections. Fulamis ancestors like all of us were from Africa. It is just that Fulamis ancestors left more recently than most of us which is obvious from her phenotype and genotype.
Lady Hussey did not call this black woman an ape, even though she is one, as we all are; we are a member of the great apes.
Being from the Caribbean, it is likely that Fulamis ancestors were sent as slaves. 40% of slaves were sent to the Caribbean.
The lesson to be learned is that one should not strike a conversation with a black person.
