David McCalden died in October 1990. His widow then gave his books, files and correspondences to David Cole.
So overnight, I “inherited” one of the largest libraries of Holocaust books in L.A. And lots of correspondences―almost twenty years’ worth. I spent months reading everything.
Republican Party Animal, David Cole, p.25
Fast forward thirty two years, and a rotten tree has fallen in the garden of Beverly Hills resident David Cole. In order to raise cash to pay his Mexican gardeners for the tree removal Cole holds an online auction to sell off objects of value to the holocaust enthusiast community.
I am kicking myself for missing this auction as there were a few historical items I would have been tempted to bid on.
Some of the goodies:
Drama of the European Jews owned by David McCalden with his name written inside
Did Six million Really Die
Leuchter Report original court document
Republican Party Animal is out of print and banned from Amazon
Cole claims Republican Party Animal is now selling for around $500 on EBay. I had a quick look the other day and give or take $30 he is correct. I have an original pre order copy. I know Scott and Black Rabbit of Inlé also have first editions. I am not a materialist and I don’t intend selling my copy of the book anytime soon. When I die my copy will probably get thrown in the back of a garbage truck and compressed as my former living space is cleared for the next resident.
