At Klowns, I read the following from a poster called Gibson. Strangely enough he is the only "realist" who has not been banned by the idiot Pyrrho. This was in response to "Nessie's" comment: "Deniers labour under the delusion that only truthful witnesses describe everything in perfect detail."Gibson has a good point; it seems if some holocaust charlatan says he or she saw something absurd it happened. This is why the burning blood, self cremating corpses and other absurdities like "shrunken heads" and soap were taken as gospel truth. How ridiculous and absurd does a story have to be before the "believers" scratch their pointed heads and think "hold on" this can't be real.

Even some academics have fallen for the ridiculous revisionist arguments and unevidenced claims. When they do, they get dismissed.
Your claims that since 1942 and the first Polish Government in Exile reports of mass murder
- the numerous Soviet, post Soviet and western Allied governments
- all of the university history departments around the world
- all MSM news sources and journalists
have cooperated throughout the Cold War and to the present day, to maintain a hoax is utterly ridiculous.

Nessie: An' I have EVIDENCE of hermetically sealed gas chambers an' the magic Jew barbeque. Suuuuuure you do. The logically flawed arguments you use are ridiculous. It is amazing how easily you fall for them. Most people can see through them and understand the flaws.

Uh-huh, nobody ever said anything about a hermetically sealed gas chamber or cremating thousands with twigs or brush. Nobody ever mentioned flammable blood or having their ears nailed to a wall, either. Oh, wait a minute. Only you think that cherry-picking comments and taking them literally is a credible methodology for assessing truthfulness.
Only you think it is OK to claim a massive hoax that is self-evidently ridiculous.

Suuuuure, can't take what the alleged eyewitnesses testify to literally. Especially when the bizarre tales are piled one on top of another. Just little "mistakes" or "exaggerations". Well, dozens of little "mistakes" and "exaggerations" but how else can the 'hoax work?
BTW, ever read "Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds"? Well, I suppose not.

THE QUESTION: Is it possible for a man to walk hundreds of metres out from the shore on the water of a huge lake when its surface is disturbed by wind-swept, storm-tossed waves? Can a human being walk on water like that? What do you think?
Is it believable that a person is able to produce multiple loaves of bread out of thin air, in front of multiple witnesses?
How about the credibility of this: would you believe that a person could bring back to life someone who had been dead for a couple of weeks and make them get up and walk unaided out of their burial chamber, despite the dead personโs stinking, rotting corpse being wrapped tightly in bands of cloth like a mummy so walking in those bands wouldnโt be possible for a living person who hadnโt been dead for a fortnight? Do YOU believe a person could make such an impossible and extremely unlikely thing occur just by saying a few words from outside the burial chamber?
Would you think these โstoriesโ are believable?
Do you believe that one person could and did do all these physically impossible, โmagicโ things and supposedly others besides? Are you aware that it was claimed and believed that there was such a โmagicโ-performing person and that he was โmagicallyโ conceived in his mothers womb WITHOUT one of her monthly ovulations being fertilised by male spermatazoa?
If you DO NOT believe these โstoriesโ of non-credible, physically impossible occurrences, then HOW do you explain many MILLIONS of otherwise intelligent people not only fervently believing it for thousands of years, but enforcing their belief upon their children and the children of others. Not only that but punishing, torturing and even cruelly murdering people by burning them alive if they questioned or disbelieved any aspect of these โstoriesโ?
How was a โbeliefโ like that maintained for nearly two thousand years? How would it be possible with so many people involved โ intelligent, university-educated people โ not only over centuries, but across many lands and even spanning different continents!?
How could a belief in such a physically impossible set of stories be allowed to be studied and taught at Universities?
How would it be possible for the judiciary for centuries to cruelly punish dissent from belief in such a physically impossible set of stories? ______________________________________

If there was a hoax, do you not think the witnesses would have been coached not to make emotive claims, make mistakes or exaggerate? The irony is that it is you who has fallen for the deluded claim of massive hoax involving millions of people and multiple governments, universities and journalists.

See been-there's reference to the history of Christianity. As far as people being coached for the hoax, the alleged witnesses were writing wartime propaganda and the hoaxers got stuck with it.

A cultish, โ believerโ mind-set just avoids dealing honestly and rationally with the overwhelming amount of โridiculousโ claims embedded within the CORE of the โholyco$tโ industryโs pseudo-history. As we see here (e.g. the reply above) on a daily basis. ๐ The โ believerโ mind-set either BELIEVES them; makes irrational, inconsistent justifications for them; or denies they have any significance. To genuinely incorporate them into an honest understanding of the whole narrativeโs credibility would cause too much cognitive dissonance!
