At 11:22 PM EST, I send a little love to NYC.

They say there's always magick in the air..."

The following is in HEAVY rotation between these ears and spinal column while walking the streets of Toronto. Hot damn, and hat's off to the Lama and Jean Michel Rykiel for capturing such haunting beauty.
"Sacred Words of Liberation" or not, it transforms the landscape of the inner and outer world. I pass a mosque, "AAAAAAAUUUUUMMMMMM", I pass the Church of the Sacred Bleeding Heart of the Apocalypse, "AAAAAAAUUUUUMMMMM", I pass a synagogue, "AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUMMMMM", etc.
Sonic therapy for this lad.

Youtube compresses audio heavily, this vid doesn't cut it.

.
Everybody knows that the dice are loaded
Everybody rolls with their fingers crossed
Everybody knows the war is over
Everybody knows the good guys lost
Everybody knows the fight was fixed
The poor stay poor, the rich get rich
That's how it goes
Everybody knows
Everybody knows that the boat is leaking
Everybody knows that the captain lied
Everybody got this broken feeling
Like their father or their dog just died
Everybody talking to their pockets...
That's how it goes
Everybody knows

This girl sounds alot like the Cranberries lead singer who passed away in this endearingly high-schoolishly nerdy cover of Hall & Oates Maneater:

I consider the following as odd yet brilliant marketing. I caught this advert when it was initially run in cinemas approximately 12 years ago. And for someone like me, who hasn't even owned a TV for over twenty-five years to post an advert...Odd, yet brilliant.

I'd like to dedicate this to Greta Thunberg, yet another contrived "ape", minus the CGI....I think.
Regardless, just remember that for every post you make - you crush 10,000 of Greta Thunberg's dreams.
She feels it coming, "in the air tonight..."

Producer Hugh Padham outdid himself with the iconic sound he created via reverse-gating the tom-tom drums on Phil Collins' kit. An AHA! moment back in 80's, "never heard that before!" When pop radio was actually churning out some fine music.

Opening track from Peter Gabriel's rather brilliant soundtrack to The Last Temptation of Christ.

Look how deftly one can get artificial harmonics on this thing called a balaika:
This is a cooler instrument than you'd think by looking at it. As you can see, a high but clean amplification allows one to hear the left hand notes w/o plucking and an interesting right hand technique allows for a very interesting cross between ukelele (but more sophisticated sounding) and violin.

This guy Alexei Arkhipovskiy here is the Paganini of it! He plays some of Paganini's 24th caprice here pretty impressively - along with all the other impressive things here:
That video is over 10 years old and he has much newer stuff if you search around. Interesting stuff.
