Clearly Jewish voices for peace and fairness are ignored. Nobody denies the humanity of people like Ilan pappe, Norman Finkelstein, Amy Goodman, Noam Chomsky, Benny Morris (older books) and others who know the dirty history and current filthy practices of Israel. However, their recommendations for fair treatment of the Palestinians are clearly ignored.

Cherry pick all you want. You can't deny the shrinking amount of Palestinian land, and the increasing number of settlements. You can't compare mere wishes of ordinary citizens which may be nice, to the governmental policies of Israel which are not so nice. The latter clearly does not listen to the former.

Are condemning the use of cherry picking to make an argument? :o

Scott - On a side note, this forum is turning into a joke with the vicious attacks--and completely unnecessary vitriol--that everybody is making upon each other.

Information and documents on Israel's peace processes with its Arab neighbors

https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/js ... pptoc.html

An example of an Israeli peace offer. Olmert, in 2008, offered the Palestinians most of the West Bank and Gaza, with land swaps from Israel to compensate the direct annexation of Jewish communities closer to the 1967 lines.

Don't believe the anti-Semitics who cherry pick, believe in our cherry picking instead.

So in other words, people who are not anti semites, like you Nessie, approve of the following actions...

1. Israeli settlers destroying water tanks that palestinians need
2. Forcing Palestinians into homelessness by bulldozing homes
3. Israeli soldiers shooting palestinian teenagers
4. Destroying Palestinian olive trees
5. Israeli soldiers shooting journalists in the head and stealing cameras off said corpse
6. Poisoning Palestinian water wells.
7. Dumping sewage onto palestinian land.
8. Poisoning animal flocks of palestinian farmers

Arabs are semitic too. So I guess you're an anti semite as well, Nessie. Do you wear this t shirt when you go out in public?

Israeli Army T-Shirts Mock Gaza Killings

The printed t-shirts were discovered by an Israeli newspaper (Pic: courtesy of Yanai Yechiel)

By Dominic Waghorn

The Israeli army is at the centre of a second controversy over the moral conduct of its soldiers in as many days.

The revelations centre on t-shirt designs made for soldiers that make light of shooting pregnant Palestinian mothers and children and include images of dead babies and destroyed mosques.

The t-shirts were printed for Israeli soldiers at the end of periods of deployment or training courses and were discovered by Israeli newspaper Haaretz.

Israeli Sniper: I Killed 13 Palestinian Kids Today!

Unable to verify whether this David Ovadia Instagram is true or fake. However, it is a well known fact that IDF soldiers do target Palestinian children!

Israeli Sniper: I Killed 13 Palestinian Kids Today!
by http://www.presstv.com/
An Israeli sniper has admitted to killing 13 children in the Gaza Strip in one day, as Tel Aviv continues its aerial and ground attacks in the besieged enclave.
-
Posting on an Instagram account, David Ovadia released a photo of himself holding a sniper rifle. The image with his post, however, was deleted entirely by hackers from an anonymous group. The group has launched hundreds of attacks on Israeli websites over the past two years.
-
The move was reportedly followed by the group’s cyber attacks on Israel’s Mossad and Ministry of Military Affairs. The development comes as Tel Aviv claims that its military has been targeting Palestinian fighters from resistance group Hamas and described the growing death toll in the enclave as collateral damage.
-
Israel has been pounding the Gaza Strip since July 8. Israeli forces also began a ground offensive against the impoverished Palestinian land on July 17. More than 300 children have so far been killed. More than 1,370 Palestinians have been killed and thousands of others injured by Israel’s offensive.

The Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, has been launching retaliatory attacks against Israel. Israeli sources have confirmed the deaths of 56 soldiers. However, Hamas says the toll is much higher.
-
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pledged to complete the destruction of Gaza tunnels with or without a ceasefire. Tel Aviv also mobilized 16,000 reservists for the ground military operations in Gaza, putting the total number at 86,000. Tel Aviv has targeted hospitals, clinics, and shelters over the past 24 days.

The title of this topic thread plays into, is based upon and perpetuates a subtly racist paradigm. A strawman paradigm.
Although it doesn't explicitly state it, it plays upon this racist paradigm. Viz. "The Jews want this. The Jews want that. The Jews control the media. The Jews did 911. The Jews started WW2". Etc., etc., etc.

People here would do well to notice this 'trap' and not fall into it.

Of course some people who regard themselves as 'Jewish' genuinely do want some form of peaceful and just resolution of the European land theft of Palestine from Palestinians.

Of course some people who regard themselves as 'Jewish' genuinely do renounce racist anti-Arab stereotypes.

And, ALSO - as Werd has demonstrated - the majority of people who regard themselves as 'Jewish' genuinely do not.

The majority of people — in Israel especially — who regard themselves as 'Jewish', genuinely do held deeply racist, deeply anti-muslim, and deeply violent anti-Arab sentiments.

Both views exist concurrently by people who regard themselves as 'Jewish'.
BUT — and here is the trap — neither of these represent ALL people who regard themselves as 'Jewish'.

SO there IS NO 'the Jews' who do anything, nor want anything, nor are responsible for anything.
This is the racist trap put out for people to fall into who have seen what some 'Jews' are doing and are critical of that.

Some people who regard themselves as 'Jewish' and act toward a common goal based upon that racist self-perception do have inordinate control over the media in many countries.
And some people who regarded themselves as 'Jewish' and acted toward a common goal based upon that racist self-perception, were accused by key players for starting WW2.
Some people who regard themselves as 'Jewish' and act toward a common goal based upon that racist self-perception ARE fomenting internal conflict in Middle Eastern countries. Etc., etc., etc.

These are the facts that get marginalised as anti-semitic hate tropes if people fall into the trap of saying "'THE Jews' are behind it, THE Jews' did it."

SOME people who regard themselves as 'Jews' are collectively doing these things.
Goyim and people who regard themselves as 'Jewish' both, should be aware of this, and not get sucked into perpetuating a false and racist paradigm.
"When people who are honestly mistaken learn the truth,
they either cease being mistaken
or they cease being honest"

Holy Moly  Just ignore the blind trolls who cannot think with an open mind. This thread is about Jews wanting peace and nothing else. It is typical of people who want to bully others into their way of thinking to troll other's threads. Cherry picking one side of the story is the denier/revisionists way and if applies to them, it applies to others as well.

All round the world there are Jews who want peace. By concentrating only on them will we be able to evidence that truthfully I Jews want peace.
