It is not irrelevant that the cathedral had an electrical wiring issue. Probably rats.

Holocaust international Cartoon contest
Ushmm wrote:These contests are insulting to the victims and memory of the Holocaust.
--United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
The International Holocaust Cartoon Contest was a cartoon competition sponsored by the Iranian newspaper Hamshahri, to denounce what it called "Western hypocrisy on freedom of speech". The event was staged in response to the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy.[1]

In January 2015, in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo shooting and the magazines subsequent decision to publish further cartoons of Muhammad, the Iranian House of Cartoon and the Sarcheshmeh Cultural Complex in Iran announced that they would be sponsoring The 2nd International Holocaust Cartoons Contest.

...The contest was created in response to the twelve cartoons published by the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten (see Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy) to challenge the championing of freedom of speech in the defence of the Jyllands-Posten cartoons. This was done under the notion that those who supported the Jyllands-Posten's right to free anti-Islamic speech would be placed in a precarious position were they to condemn the cartoons targeted at one of the most sensitive of Jewish topics. In that introductory message for the contest, Hamshahri denounced what they called Western hypocrisy on freedom of speech, alleging that "it is impossible in the West to joke upon or even discuss certain topics related to Judaism, such as the Holocaust, and the pretexts for the creation of Israel."[5]

On February 14, 2006, the editor in chief of Hamshahri commented in Persian that "the purpose of establishing such a competition is not to offend or ridicule anyone, but to do a discussion about the realities of the Holocaust."
He also indicated that Hamshahri tries really hard not to cause pain for anyone and also added that the newspaper has no contention with the Jews in Iran or any other place, but that it has problems with Zionism.[6]
...The exhibition put on by The Iran Cartoon Organisation and Hamshahri newspaper opened on August 14, 2006.

In December 2015, two state-sponsored Iranian cultural organizations, the Owj Media & Art Institute and the Sarcheshmeh Cultural Complex, announced another Holocaust cartoon contest. Over 150 cartoons from the contest made up a May 2016 exhibition in the art section at the Islamic Propaganda Organization in Tehran, as part of Iran's Cartoon Biennial.

On May 31, 2016, French cartoonist Zeon was announced as the winner and received the first prize of US$12,000. The cartoonist was arrested by the French authorities back in March 2015 for [cartoons deemed] anti-Semitic that he drew back in 2011.[26]

The winning entry by French cartoonist Zeon. It shows an old-fashioned cash register with the façade of the rail entrance to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, and bearing the words “Shoah Business” — a reference to Jewish 'survivors' reparations scam. Filled with money, the cash register has rung up the figure 6,000,000 — another reference to the inflated and mythologically significant number of Jews allegedly killed during 'the shoah'.

...The event was also criticised by
the United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan,
the U.S. State Department,
the Israeli foreign ministry,
Reporters Without Borders,
the Anti-Defamation League
and other parties.[16]

Here is an article on how cognitive dissonance works.

It explains what we here at RODOH have just witnessed.

Viz. It explains why a Jewish 'true-believer' who has had their beliefs exposed as delusional [Airfixgeneral], would recruit fellow Jewish 'true-believers' [Wilman1960] to buttress their belief in a shared delusion.

The article starts with an example: the case of a group who believed the world would be destroyed by a flood occurring on a precise date, December 21st 1955. It examines the behaviour of the group once the date had passed and yet no flood had occurred.
The Cognitive Dissonance of... Jews

By Edward S. Shapiro — 18 October 2012
1.Culture and Society

...Helping making acceptable the pain of disconfirmation was the social support that individuals received from other true-believers. Without the continual encouragement from others, it is unlikely that most of the members of the groups would have remained in their state of cognitive dissonance. “The presence of supporting co-believers would seem to be an indispensable requirement of recovery from such extreme disconfirmation” Festinger et al. wrote.
That explains why Airfixgeneral felt the need to recruit an old school friend to support his anti-intellectual approach to discussing history.

The author Shapiro uses an unusual word for the experience if having a belief exposed as incorrect: "disconfirmation". I.e. it is the opposite of having a belief confirmed. What happens when a person who self-identifies as being 'jewish' is confronted by the evidence and argument that their belief in special 'jewish' suffering and the alleged near-genocide by mass-gassing is demonstrably false and confirmed to be false?
As Festinger et al. noted, “Although there is a limit beyond which belief will not withstand disconfirmation, it is clear that the introduction of contrary evidence can serve to increase the conviction and enthusiasm of a believer.” This would occur when the belief was held with deep conviction; when the person holding this belief had taken some important action for the sake of this belief such as joining an organisation or contributing money; ...and when the individual was surrounded by other likeminded persons.
In such a setting, the individual would reject clear disconfirming evidence and even attempt to convince others of the truth of the belief. This increased proselytizing is necessary if the pain resulting from disconfirmation is to be reduced to a tolerable level.
The article goes on to discuss the cognitive dissonance of American Jews in particular and their obsession with believing they are the special victims of undeserved and unwarranted, illogical racial prejudice. It analyses the plethora of 'holocaust' museums in America and the importance given to educating school children about 'the holocaust'.
Zionist historians had an additional reason to stress the more dismal aspects of Jewish history in the Diaspora. These, they argued, demonstrated the need for a Jewish state.
Even in the United States, where anti-Semitism has been a private and peripheral matter, and where anti-Semitism has been notable for its absence from politics and governing, it is de rigueur for histories of American Jews to include lengthy chapters on anti-Semitism.

Dozens of Holocaust museums, memorials, research institutes, and archives located throughout America reinforce this message. Since its founding in 1977, one of the most successful, if not the most successful, American Jewish domestic organization in terms of fund-raising has been the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles. The Holocaust Museum in Washington, D. C. has been able to secure generous funding from American Jewish benefactors since its opening in April, 1993, despite the doubts of some observers who wonder whether the Mall in Washington is an appropriate place to locate a museum dedicated to the memory of events which took place in Europe. The fact that the Holocaust Museum is located close to the Washington Monument and on the sacred space of the Mall in Washington shows the extent to which Jews have become part of the American mainstream.
The museum’s location also raised questions about its appropriateness since the Holocaust did not occur in America and American authorities were not complicit in its execution. When it came time to name a new Jewish museum in New York City, which opened in 1997, its founders decided to capitalize on the memory of the Holocaust by calling it the Museum of Jewish Heritage—A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. Besides these three major institutions, there is hardly a major American city which does not have a Holocaust museum or at least a memorial of some sort. Holocaust memory has also been disseminated by the many American colleges which offer courses in the Holocaust. These are among the most popular offerings of Jewish Studies departments.

American Jews have also pressed for the mandatory teaching of the Holocaust in public schools in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, California and other states with a significant Jewish population. This has been justified on the grounds that secondary students must learn the “lessons” of the Holocaust so that nothing like it will ever appear again. But it is not clear what these lessons are. Certainly Jews were not the only victims of World War II. ...somewhere between an additional fifty to sixty-five million persons were killed during the conflict. And who were the bad guys? Many more Chinese died at the hands of Chinese Communists after the war than Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust, and until 1942 the Soviet Union killed more people than did the Nazis.

Another problem has been supplying secondary schools with personnel sufficiently versed in the history of the Holocaust who are able to teach more than platitudes, particularly at a time when the teaching of history itself on the secondary level has become a national scandal. And finally there is the question of what precisely are the “lessons” of the Holocaust. On this, of course, there will be disagreements stemming from religious, political, and ideological differences. Despite these caveats, Holocaust education has become one of the sacred cows of the American Jewish agenda.
Finally, here is an excerpt analysing why Jews feel the need to focus on the belief of increasing prejudice against Jews soley because they are jewish. It analyses why Jews feel a need to believe they are special victims of prejudice by exaggerating instances of alleged 'anti-semitism'.
A final reason for the exaggeration of American anti-Semitism has been the changing nature of American Jewish identity. The future of American Jewry is dependent in part on how American Jews define their identity as Jews. America’s Jews are one of the most secular segments of American society, and a Jewish identity exclusively focusing on religion has little appeal to most Jews. Other forms of Jewish identity, including radical politics, Yiddish culture, and ethnicity, have also dissipated as Jews have acculturated into American culture. This acculturation has encouraged some Jews to argue that Jews must instead emphasize “Jewish values.” But this is problematic since there is no agreement among Jews as to what these values precisely are.
...With the attenuation of alternative definitions of Jewish identity, the struggle against anti-Semitism has become more important in defining Jewish identity. One can express his or her commitment to Jewish identity by supporting organizations fighting anti-Semitism. To acknowledge that anti-Semitism has become a peripheral and minor irritant in America would deprive many Jews of an important, if not the sole, factor in their Jewish identity. Jews thus hold on tightly to the vision of American Jewry as an oppressed group.

According to the survey literature cited by Putnam and Campbell, Jews are not only a widely admired religious group, but they are “the best liked religious group in the country.”
They are supposedly more popular than mainline Protestants and Roman Catholics, and far more popular than Evangelical Protestants, Mormons, Buddhists, and, of course, Muslims.
But as Putnam and Campbell note, Jews are reluctant to accept such astounding news. They are, in fact, “one of the groups most likely to report being exposed to critical comments about their religion,” and twelve percent of Jews say they “often” hear negative comments about their religion.

Putnam, a convert to Judaism from Protestantism, has professed surprise by the gap between the reality of American anti-Jews and American Jews’ perception of this reality. “A man with a conviction is a hard man to change,” Festinger et al. wrote.

When presented with undeniable evidence that his belief is wrong, the person “will frequently emerge, not only unshaken, but even more convinced of the truth of his beliefs than ever before. Indeed, he may even show a new fervour about convincing and converting other people to his view.”

As Abba Eban once remarked, American Jews can’t take “yes” for an answer.

It is unlikely that in the near future American Jews will modify their cognitive dissonance since this would require a fundamental rethinking of their identity as Jews.

As Festinger et al. noted over a half century ago, it is difficult for people to renounce deeply held opinions.

The 'Jewish' victim-complex combined with a supriority complex — buttressed and validated by the exaggerated and distorted WW2 'Jewish pseudo-history, i.e. their Shoah bogus-narrative of a unique and special WW2 suffering — justifies them committing horrificly cruel and demonic acts NOW, today and daily.

The teaching of this 'holocaust' history has become a deeply psychotic conditioning, which traumatises 'Jews' and Israelis turning them into racist killers and supporters of racist barbarity.

Not only should all decent, honest and well-informed people resist the spread of this pernicious 'Holocaust/Shoah' WW2-deceit-by-omission amongst our own societies, but for the future of humanity we should encourage people who believe in and follow Judaism that it is doing them no good at all. Its turning them into monsters motivated by a deeply inbuilt need for vengeance.

Hot off the news networks:
65 year old Jew arrested for racist xenophobic attack against Polish ambassador. As an excuse he and his Jewish lawyer lie and claim he was himself abused with a racist epithet first, and then to create sympathy for his suffering he brings up the holocaust.
Later, outside the embassy, the alleged assailant "approached the vehicle of the Polish ambassador to Israel, opened the door and then spat (at him)," police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.

Johan said the assault was not premeditated, adding:
"My client was walking in the street and an embassy vehicle honked at him."

In a statement issued to reporters, the suspect, Erik Lederman, said his family had been through the Nazi Holocaust and that a Polish embassy employee had used an anti-Semitic slur against him while he was there, which he found upsetting.

I find it amazing that there were 58 million European civilian deaths during WWII, with allegedly 6 million Jude. The deaths of those 6 million Jude are blamed on the Germans, so who is to blame for the deaths of the other 52 million?
Jude died with the other Europeans: I fail to see how their deaths are somehow distinct or more important than the others.
If strategic bombing caused the deaths of 52 million Europeans, then sure as hell the 6 million Jude were not somehow separated so the Nazis could kill them. Everyone died due to the same cause. Starvation, disease, fire all by the hands of Mr Churchill, Mr MacArther, bomber Harris and the War Cabinet.

What is so special about 'Jewish' suffering?

Well one "special" aspect of it is that it can and has been made into an extremely profitable industry.

Image

Special for profiting certain jews individually;
special for profiting for Jewish organisations promoting 'holocaust';
and special for legitimising profitable Jewish land theft in a jewish pursuit of a Jewish State on Palestinian territory, i.e. profitable for 'Israel'.

Excerpt from an article by David Cole entitled “A bleak future for Jews” published May 21, 2019
Cole wrote:
I argued in my column that the obsessive support Jewish Americans give to unchecked Third World immigration harms Jews as much as anyone else...

Get the fuck over the Holocaust” was meant to sound harsh, because the gentle prodding guys like Rabbi Haberman employed didn’t work.

Let me try to put it in very personal terms. As my regular readers know, in late January of this year, my father, an 83-year-old veteran, passed away due to hospital error. It’s been almost four months now, and I’m far from over it. When my mom died in 2015, I was able to be at peace with it, because her death was natural. No one caused it, no one was to blame, and she died from a disease for which there’s no cure. I accepted it as part of the natural course of events.

But my dad? People were to blame, and at one of the supposedly “best” hospitals in the U.S. So in his case, there’s sadness and anger. And right now, if anyone were to tell me to “get the f— over it,” I’d break their nose. But okay, indulge me in a hypothetical. I don’t have kids (thank heaven), but say I did. Say I had a big family. And say it’s 2029 and I’m neglecting my wife and kids and just generally being destructive to myself and those around me, and anytime anyone calls me out on it, I snap, “My father died unnecessarily! I have every right to indulge in grief.”

You know what a good friend would tell me in that situation? “Get the fuck over it. It’s been ten years. Your anger, your bitterness, is ruining your life and the lives of those who love you. It’s time to get past it.”

I dare you to say that isn’t the best advice I could receive in that situation.

Well, that’s the advice I’m giving my fellow Jews. It’s been 75 years since the Holocaust. And that stubborn, pervasive “virile hate” is helping to forge a bleak future for us all. If Jews think they can forever stay immune to the effects of the Third Worlding of America, well, open your damn eyes. Or just look at the situation in France. How are Jews doing over there since Muslim immigrants began pouring in? Better? Or worse? “We must support immigration because the West must never again return to the white supremacy of old.” Hey, if you didn’t like the historical West, wait till your kids experience the future one, with Muslim majorities in major European nations, and an America awash in Third Worlders who dismiss Jews as white and the Holocaust as a “white on white” problem.
