The pearl harbour attack

Post by randomforumguy »

Obviously it was a success. But it was not followed by invasion forces. Should it have been (in terms of military strategy) ?

No and it would have been foolish on the part of the Japanese to try and invade the Hawaiian Islands at that time. Instead they seized the Philippines to destroy the American presence there and the Dutch East Indies for its oil. The later attack on Midway, however, was an encroachment towards Hawaii that may have had the prospect of an invasion in mind.

It might be of interest to your addled brain, Goo-goo, that a war with Japan was something expected and maybe planned for in certain circles of the American Power Elite for quite some time:

As far as Pearl Harbour is concerned, surely the most important factor, is, as in the above link, that it was known that there was going to be an attack, and it was allowed to happen in order to bring the United States in to the was against Germany (Japan's ally). Probably it was the case that the 911 attack was known in advance also, and was allowed to happen in order to justify going to war on behalf of the Zionists -- surely Mossad at least would have known about it.
