Measuring a mass grave on the number of skeletons is a dodge to avoid what the Nazis did to the vast majority of human remains at the sites. Witnesses speak to mass exhumation and cremations, which is backed up by what studies have found at the sites; ash, cremains, larger bones and fatty deposits.

That is why measuring and defining the mass graves of TII, Sobibor, Belzec and Chelmno as if they were like those found at Katyn or Villeneuve-Loubet is Gerdes (who has never excavated at any of the sites) thinking he is being clever, but he is showing a great deal of stupidity.
