Facebook rejects criticism that accuses it of permitting and "promoting" 'holocaust denial' by arguing it removes some content it deems 'hateful' but allows some other because it is protecting "legitimate historical debate".
The Observer | Holocaust | Sunday 16th August 2020

Facebook algorithm found to 'actively promote'
Holocaust denial [skepticism/historical revision]

Similar content is also readily accessible across Twitter, YouTube and Reddit, says UK-based counter-extremist group

Facebook’s algorithm “actively promotes” Holocaust denial [revisionist/skeptical] content according to an analysis that will increase pressure on the social media giant to remove antisemitic [taboo-breaking] content relating to the [alleged] Nazi genocide.

An investigation by the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), a UK-based counter-extremist organisation, found that typing “holocaust” in the Facebook search function brought up suggestions for denial pages, which in turn recommended links to publishers which sell revisionist and denial [skeptical] literature, as well as pages dedicated to the notorious British Holocaust denier [WW2 expert and historian] David Irving.

The findings coincide with mounting international demands from Holocaust survivors to Facebook’s boss, Mark Zuckerberg, to remove such material from the site.

Last Wednesday Facebook announced it was banning conspiracy theories about Jewish people “controlling the world”. However, it has been unwilling to categorise Holocaust denial as a form of hate speech...

The ISD also discovered at least 36 Facebook groups with a combined 366,068 followers which are specifically dedicated to Holocaust denial [skepticism/revision] or which host such content. Researchers found that when they followed public Facebook pages containing Holocaust denial [revisionist/skeptical] content, Facebook recommended further similar content.

Jacob Davey, ISD’s senior research manager, said: “Facebook’s decision to allow Holocaust denial [revisionist/skeptical] content to remain on its platform is framed under the guise of protecting legitimate historical debate, but this misses the reason why people engage in Holocaust denial in the first place.

...Researchers also found that Holocaust denial [revisionist/skeptical] content is readily accessible across Twitter, Reddit and YouTube. They identified 2,300 pieces of content mentioning “holohoax” — a term often used by deniers [sketics/revisionists] — on Reddit, 19,000 pieces on Twitter and 9,500 pieces of content on YouTube, all created in the past two years.

A Facebook company spokesperson said:
“We take down any post that celebrates, defends, or attempts to justify the Holocaust. The same goes for any content that mocks Holocaust victims, accuses victims of lying, spews hate, or advocates for violence against Jewish people in any way.
We also remove groups and pages that discuss Holocaust denial from recommendations and references to it in search predictions. While we do not take down content simply for being untruthful, many posts that deny the Holocaust often violate our policies against hate speech and are removed.” ... ust-denial

According to a recent survey, 23% of American adults aged 18-39 said they believed the Holocaust was a myth, had been exaggerated or they weren’t sure.

By Harriet Sherwood | Wednesday 16th September 2020 | The Guardian Newspaper

According to the study of millennial and Gen Z adults aged between 18 and 39, almost half (48%) could not name a single concentration camp or ghetto established during the second world war.

Almost a quarter of respondents (23%) said they believed the Holocaust was a myth, or had been exaggerated, or they weren’t sure. One in eight (12%) said they had definitely not heard, or didn’t think they had heard, about the Holocaust.

More than half (56%) said they had seen NSDAP symbols on their social media platforms and/or in their communities, and almost half (49%) had seen Holocaust denial [skepticism] or distortion [revision] posts on social media or elsewhere online.

“The results are both shocking and saddening, and they underscore why we must act now while Holocaust survivors are still with us to voice their stories” [   ] said Gideon Taylor, president of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany [i.e. Jewish Organisations Still Ripping Off Germany (JOSROG)] which commissioned the survey.

Taylor added: “We need to understand why we aren’t doing better in educating a younger generation about the Holocaust and the lessons of the past...”

The top-scoring state was Wisconsin, where 42% of millennial and Gen Z adults met all three criteria, followed by Minnesota at 37% and Massachusetts at 35%. The lowest-scoring states were Florida at 20%, Mississippi at 18% and Arkansas at 17%.

Nationally, 63% of respondents did not know [of the myth that] 6 million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust, and more than one in three (36%) thought 2 million or fewer had been killed.

Eleven per cent of respondents across the US believed that Jews had caused the Holocaust, with the proportion in New York state at 19%, followed by 16% in Louisiana, Tennessee and Montana, and 15% in Arizona, Connecticut, Georgia, Nevada and New Mexico.

Nationally, 44% of those questioned were able to identify Auschwitz-Birkenau, and only 3% were familiar with Bergen-Belsen. Six out of 10 respondents in Texas could not name a single concentration camp or ghetto.

However, almost two-thirds (64%) of American millennial and Gen Z adults believe Holocaust education should be compulsory in schools. Seven out of 10 said it was not acceptable for an individual to hold neo-Nazi views.

The Claims Conference, whose mission is “to provide a measure of justice for Jewish Holocaust victims”, set up a taskforce to oversee the survey. It included Holocaust survivors, historians and experts from Yad Vashem and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. ... 56GpmbJb7Q

Big Pharma pushes ‘Miracle Cure’ for Holocaust Denial Syndrome

By Michael James

FRANKFURT, Germany — Governments, police services, and prison authorities around the world are reportedly “overjoyed” by the launch of a new prescription drug that cures people who doubt the veracity of the so-called Jewish Holocaust.

Shares in Israel-based Goy & Goy Pharmaceuticals Incorporated rocketed to 89 U.S. dollars following the long-awaited announcement of a miracle cure for Holocaust Denial Syndrome (HDS).

Soon to be marketed and sold under the name Holozac, the drug works by closing down the brain’s center of intellectual inquiry. It also blocks the re-uptake of politically incorrect neurotransmitters involved in critical thought processes, making it more difficult to distinguish between truth and lies.

“We’re simply overwhelmed by the response of the governments we control in the Zionist West,” says Ari Scheister, Marketing Director for Goy & Goy’s regional office in Germany. “Particularly so in the European Union where prisons are bursting at the seams with professors, journalists, and academics who each suffer the symptoms of advanced and potentially fatal HDS and other diseases associated with human awareness and a passion for the truth.”

Europe’s most prominent sufferers are said to be in a stable condition following incarceration in high-security prison facilities for People Who Read Books (PWRBs).

“Next to People Who Have the Audacity to Actually Write Books (PWHTATAWBs), the PWRBs are our most urgent concern,” says Günther Gutmensch, Parliamentary Chairman of the Federal Commission for Confiscating and Burning Books That Make People Think Something Ain’t Right (FCFCABBTMPTSAR). “They ask lots of questions and they have an unnatural and very unhealthy obsession with finding out the truth. They simply do not believe a word we say.”

Goy & Goy Pharmaceuticals were given the green light by EU health regulators yesterday following extensive double-blind tests involving twenty HDS sufferers. Over a seven-day period, the patients were allowed unrestricted access to a library of detailed and scientifically authenticated studies of the so-called Jewish Holocaust. Ten of the patients were given a placebo, whereas each of the other ten was administered 500 mg of Holozac twelve times a day.

“The results were astonishing,” says Dr Ron Haggler, who supervised the trial. “On the first day, both groups quickly found all three volumes of the 1948 'Report of the International Committee of the Red Cross', and 'The Hoax of the Twentieth Century' by Arthur Butz. On the second day, patients were still reading and discussing Germar Rudolf’s 'Lectures on the Holocaust' and Juergen Graf’s seminal 'The Giant with Feet of Clay'.”

“However,” continues Haggler, “by Wednesday morning the group treated with Holozac had actually pushed aside Carlo Mattogno’s 'Auschwitz: Rumor and Reality' and Norman Finkelstein’s 'The Holocaust Industry' in favour of the semi-mythical 'Schindler’s List'. At the end of the experiment they were actually fighting over the only available copy of Germany’s favourite self-loathing, government-controlled newspaper 'Bild Zeitung'.”

There are however side effects associated with Holozac. Its active ingredient, Zionine, has been shown to cause a pathological hatred of Palestinians and Muslims in general.

“It’s not for cartoonists or editor’s of Mossad-controlled newspapers,” Haggler explained. “We are also cautioning doctors not to prescribe to patients who have a habit of harming either themselves or complete strangers and who then blame that harm on imaginary Arab terrorists.”

Despite such reservations about possible side effects, the European Union has already invested 15 billion euros in what it describes as the most ambitious mental health campaign in modern times.

“We're talking about targeted pre-emptive measures,” says an EU spokesman for Mental Hygiene and Correct Thinking. “Holocaust Denial Syndrome begins at home and in the classroom. Does your child ask questions? Does he or she read books? Does he or she get bored with television news programmes and surf the Internet for uncensored history sites and the truth about 9-11? If the answer is 'yes' to any one of these painfully necessary questions, then your child should be treated with Holozac immediately before his or her brain has a chance to fully develop its dangerous critical faculties.”

Much to the delight of Goy & Goy shareholders, that recommendation was heartily echoed by psychiatric professionals throughout the European Union yesterday:

“We often find ourselves being called out at short notice to help the police deal with highly intelligent people who question the official version of history and who therefore require urgent medication,” says first-responder Heidi Stomp. “At the end of the day, all we want is a society of normal, well-adjusted people who watch television, trust the government, don’t ask questions, pay taxes, and love Israel.”

“Governments are limited in terms of what they can do to keep young men dying in wars for Israel premised upon our cleverly scripted history and other scams,” reiterates Ari Scheister. “They can burn books and lie and deceive over and over again, but there’s always a hard core of dangerously self-educated and wilfully informed people who persist in asking troublesome questions about our precious and wonderfully unique Holocaust, despite the threat of imprisonment or worse. The only way to deal with this terrible disease and stop the truth from infecting other people is by treating sufferers with our new miracle Holozac.”

THE FORWARD wrote:Image

On Wednesday, the results of the U.S. Millennial Holocaust Knowledge and Awareness Survey were released, a poll commissioned by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany and conducted by Schoen Cooperman Research.
Those who wish to keep Americans ignorant about the Holocaust™ were the clear winners: when it came to hearing about the Holocaust™, naming even a single concentration camp, or the death toll from those tragic events, a number of millennials and Generation Z adults struck out on all three.

Two-thirds didn’t know how many died, with a third claiming the human carnage was far less than the actual casualty numbers. :D

Nearly half couldn’t name a single 'death camp'. 8-) :ugeek:

Most shockingly, a little over 10% of those between the ages of 18 and 40 believed that Jews were actually the perpetrators of the Holocaust™.

...a staggering 11% of respondents harbour “intensely” [ ] antisemitic views by agreeing to six or more anti-Jewish statements.

In areas like New York, Illinois and Maryland, a lack of Holocaustknowledge [compliant indoctrination into a compulsory narrative] approached or exceeded 55%.
It seems that despite intensive Holocaust™ indoctrination and the fact that Holocaust™ museums and monuments have mushroomed all over the USA, fewer Americans are interested in their Jewish neighbours’ historic suffering and the question is, what can be done about it? Perhaps they will have to erect a holocaust museum on every American street corner...

The Forward reports that two-thirds of young Americans didn’t know how many died in the Holocaust™. For some peculiar reason it is very important to most Jewish institutions that everyone parrots the ‘six figure.’ This is peculiar, as the notion of a genocide is within the realm of the categorical rather than the numerical. But if these institutions insist upon reducing the holocaust into a materialist quantified figure I am inclined to ask how many Jews know the exact number of Ukranians who were starved to death in the Holodomor? How many Jews have even heard of the Holodomor? Which Jews know about Stalin’s Jews as Israeli leading columnist Sever Phlocker identifies them. Do contemporary Jews know about the impact of the Yiddish Speaking Spanish International Brigade on Catholic Spain in 1936? How many Iraqis died in the Neocon ‘war against terror’? I ask because Haaretz Writer Ari Shavit wrote in 2003 that “the war in Iraq was conceived by 25 neoconservative intellectuals, most of them Jewish.” If Jewish institutions want everyone else to understand the holocaust in numerical terms, maybe it would be reasonable to expect Jews to know the numbers of colossal crimes against humanity perpetrated largely or partially by Jews.

The Forward is upset by the fact that nearly half of millennial Goyim couldn’t name a single death camp. In return I ask how many Jewish millennials know about Deir Yassin or can name a single Zionist massacre in Palestine in 1948 or before? How many Jewish millennials know about the Sabra and Shatila massacre? Or the Kefar Qana Massacre? What do they know about the malnutrition in Gaza caused directly by years of blockade imposed by the Jewish State?

Apparently “11% of respondents harbor ‘intensely’ antisemitic views by agreeing to six or more anti-Jewish statements. That’s 28 million Americans” the Forward writes. I was curious to find out what are those “intensely” anti-Semitic views. Apparently the survey refers to the following list produced by the ADL in early 2020.

According to the ADL, back in January “44 percent of respondents agreed with the statement that ‘Jews stick together more than other Americans,’ 25 percent agreed that ‘Jews always like to be at the head of things’ and 24 percent believed that ‘Jews are more loyal to Israel than to America.’

Americans should be thrilled by the ADL’s findings and the recent study of millennials’ attitude to Jews. These studies suggest that despite the tyranny of correctness, Americans , at large and millennials in particular, aren’t blind to the reality in which they live. They still think independently and authentically. Yet, despite the fact that almost half of Americans admit to being aware of Jewish clannish exclusivist culture, America is kind to its Jews as peace and harmony are embedded in its Christian ethos. Yet one issue must be raised. If the ADL and the recent holocaust study represent Jewish American attitudes to their gentile neighbours, it may reveal that 2% of the American population disapprove of the legitimate views of 44% of Americans as ‘antisemitic.’ Nearly half of the Americans are castigated as ‘racists’ for noticing the generally accepted notion that “Jews stick together.” By doing so the ADL & Co actually confirms that from a Jewish perspective it is ‘all about the few not the many.’

Admittedly, the situation is potentially volatile. Still, if fighting antisemitism is so important for American Jews maybe people like Alan Dershowitz who struggles desperately to clear his name of underage sex allegations are not the best candidates to preach to Americans about who they should read and what history and education are all about.

Jewish ‘holocaust’ groups are admitting that increasing numbers of people are realising the ‘big lies’ inherent in the ‘holocaust’ pseudo-history and are rejecting them.
What is Holocaust distortion [revision] and why is it a problem?

Holocaust distortion [revision] is an urgent and growing issue. “Distortion of the Holocaust is found in all kinds of places. From facts twisted on the internet, to opportunistic statements by politicians, misleading exhibitions at museums, and claims, like that of the founder of Extinction Rebellion, Roger Hallam, who in 2019 referred to the Holocaust as 'just another f***ery in human history.' Each of these forms must be challenged, and strategies for countering them must be developed, for societies and individuals to fulfill their responsibility to commemorate the victims,” says IHRA Chair Ambassador Küchler.

With antisemitism on the rise internationally, we see Holocaust denial and distortion becoming more and more prevalent in contemporary culture, from media to politics across the ideological spectrum. ... it-problem
Identifying and recognizing Holocaust denial [skeptism] and distortion [revision]

In recent years, there has been a marked rise in Holocaust denial [skeptism] and distortion [revision], both online and off. The Global Task Force Against Holocaust Distortion, as initiated by the German Presidency of the IHRA, is countering this with the development of recommendations to help policymakers address this worrying trend. ... distortion

The truth cannot be concealed indefinitely.

As this article acknowledges, the numbers of people is increasing of those of us who now know the compulsory, anti-German, holocaust mass-gassing misinformation narrative can not withstand intelligent scrutiny.
Holocaust revision and denial

October 5th, 2020

This online article was prepared to support the delivery of an online lecture for the Jewish Holocaust Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

For a long time Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] was limited to discredited [courageous] academics and fringe groups. However, the Internet allowed Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision], glorification of Nazism and antisemitism to reach mainstream audiences in increasing numbers. This has allowed the discourse of Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] and distortion to flourish.

Like other forms of antisemitism [historical revision], the messages of Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] are morphing and changing as they spread through social media. Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] on social media can involve outright denial of the fact that the Holocaust occurred, claims that the number of Jews killed is grossly exaggerated, or content mocking the victims of the Holocaust and glorifying Hitler and the Nazis.

Governments and terrorist groups [  :D ] also use Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] themes in their propaganda. The Iranian government ran cartoon competitions on the theme of Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] in 2005 and 2016 which attracted entries from around the world, including Australia. These competitions generated a spike in new content which continues to pollute social media today. During the Israel/Hams war [Israeli mass-murder of a captive civilian, undefended population called deceitfully] “Operation Protective Edge” in 2014 a specially created Hamas social media guide encouraged supporters to engage in Holocaust distortion and to liken Israel’s action in Gaza to the Holocaust. This war propaganda persists.

We’ve also seen the emergence of what French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy called “Modern Antisemitism”, a phenomena which encourages hatred against [unbiased understanding of ] Jews by suggesting that they demand special privileges based on a lie. Lévy explains Modern Antisemitism as saying, “The Jews are all the more detestable because they are believed to base their beloved Israel on imaginary suffering, or suffering that at the very least has been outrageously exaggerated. This is the shabby and infamous denial [critical analysis] of the Holocaust”.

Glorification of Nazism is also a staple of 4Chan’s politically incorrect forum (known as “/pol/”), the place that radicalised the Christchurch, Poway, El Paso and Halle attackers who carried out attacks in 2019. The spread of these ideas has led to the creation of modern Neo-Nazi youth groups, including in Australia, and posters with swastikas and extreme expressions of antisemitism have in recent years appeared all over Australia.

There have also been growing efforts to tackle antisemitism [honest history] and Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] at the international level. In May 2016 the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), an inter-governmental body then with 31 member countries, passed its Working Definition of Antisemitism.

The definition gives as two examples of antisemitism in relation to the Holocaust:
“Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust)”
“accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust”.

The IHRA definition has since been widely adopted around the world. In Australia it has been adopted by the National Union of Students. A different IHRA definition focused on Holocaust denial [skepticism] and distortion [revision] is also gaining traction as the antisemitism definition and awareness of IHRA spreads.

There are increase efforts to monitor and document Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] online. In January 2016 a breakdown of data collected by the Online Hate Prevention Institute, released through the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s Global Forum for Combating Antisemitism, showed that Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] content was more prevalent on YouTube than on other social media platforms.

The YouTube content included supposed documentaries making dubious claims, clips of speeches and entire talks by infamous Holocaust deniers as well as videos people posted of themselves denying the Holocaust. Many videos carried an air of faux-professionalism, making it easier for a layperson to accept the conspiracy theories without verification. In fact, most people do not have tools or the knowledge to separate facts from assertions, and are depend on independent sources — respected [biased] media and journals — to make that distinction for them.
The Internet, however, has no filter and content mocking the Holocaust by ways of cruel memes, cartoons and jokes can be seen across the largest social media platforms: YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. Thankfully [Regretably] since 2019 YouTube has been taking action against Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision].

A 2018 report by the World Jewish Congress into antisemitism in social media found that the number of Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] content had doubled compared to two years earlier. Encouragingly, while the numbers were rising on Twitter and blogs, they dropped on Facebook and YouTube.

Efforts against Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] are increasingly focused on the online sphere.
At an IHRA plenary in June 2017 Honourary Chair, Prof. Yehuda Bauer told the plenary session that “One of the greatest problem is hate [truth] speech on the internet… [with] new technologies hate [truth] speech can be spread and is being spread… What we are facing is a vast flood of hatred [truth] including antisemitism [historical truth-seeking] and Holocaust denial [skepticism and revision] … we cannot keep quiet, we cannot educate, remember, research when there is hatred [skepticism and revision] content all over the place.”

Here is a recent example from a Jewish news-outlet admitting that more people are realising that much of the holocaust mass-gassing narrative can not withstand critical scrutiny.

They are therefore increasingly trying to equate any form of honest appraisal of the actual details of that as a form not of natural and welcome historical revision but somehow as ‘hate’.

How genuine, fact-based revision equates with hatred is never explained. It seems people are being emotionally manipulated to just believe... and hypocritically to feel hatred towards others.

The Atlanta Journal and Constitution newspaper estimates that only half of the Jewish “Holocaust survivors” around the world in 1985 had received restitution under the BEG. If this 50% estimate is accurate, it would mean that approximately 5.8 million European Jews survived German persecution during World War II. Such a large number of surviving Jews is not consistent with a German program of genocide against European Jewry.
