Re: Document NO-205

But that is not what you claimed: your reply was to a comment on sterilizing Jews in the East - not putting them into work columns. The point of the paragraph in the Wannsee protocol is not "breeding prevention" but the killing off of "a large portion" of laboring Jews deported to the East. Your wor...

Re: Document NO-205

The most logical explanation is that . . . the Reich needed to preserve from the Jews ordered deported a deployable labor force that did not breed. That may seem logical to you, but it is opposite the logic expressed during the Wannsee Conference. As you must realize, the Wannsee protocol discussed...

Re: Wannsee

But that is the point, at the Wannsee museum visitors are told that this is the place where the extermination of the Jews had been planned. And since this was not the case, as Mr. Bauer rightly asserts, why then even talk about this alleged conference? Thank you again for your warm welcome. We seem...

Re: Wannsee

Thank you for your welcome. I am pleased to be able to engage in dialogue with you and point out some of the issues with your posts, such as your confusing the IMT and NMT, etc. I don’t intend to waste too much time on this ‘silly (Wannsee) story’ (Yehuda Bauer), but confusion still reigns. Your ref...

Re: Wannsee

http://www.nizkor.org/hweb/orgs/german/einsatzgruppen/esg/trials/profiles/final.html According to this, the meeting lasted ‘many taxing hours’, a given when looking at the minutes. Be that as it may, I believe that historians have concluded that the meeting lasted about an hour and a half. Elsewher...

Re: Wannsee

No, I am not. Now, if all this stands to reason, why didn't you just say that Pa Gromheizer's statement was not reasonable? I'm sorry, I don't wish to exchange insults. I wasn't sure how your remark was intended and the example you mentioned doesn't really support the erroneous conclusion drawn by P...

Re: Wannsee

Excuse me, I seem to have edited while you were posting. I don't understand your question, but I remain interested in your reply to the problems with the suggestion that the protocol is focused on labor in general and road building in particular.

Re: Wannsee

Wannsee was about a road building project. Who, why, what, where, when and how. Excuse me, what leads you to this conclusion about the Wannsee Conference? Road construction was the only example of use of labor given in the conference protocols. Of course, there is a single sentence on road building...

Re: Wannsee

My question: Why not use NG-2586 as the official translation, since it was apparently submitted at the IMT? And why nothing in the Avalon data base? OK, two questions. This is confused. For the NMT cases, that is, the US tribunals, documents were registered in four series, the NG series standing fo...
